Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at the Vue Grand with its charming historical ambiance and cozy atmosphere. The hotel is beautiful with its high ceilings and unique decor, but I found the dining options to be lacking. The breakfast left a bit to be desired, and there were some necessary updates that could improve the overall experience. However, I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the location, which made exploring Queenscliff so easy.
I had a lovely experience overall at the hotel, enjoying a charming period atmosphere and spacious, clean rooms. However, the accessibility issues were quite frustrating, and the breakfast options could definitely use improvement. I would highly recommend this place for the overall cozy charm but be aware of the limitations if you have mobility needs.
I had high hopes for this hotel due to its beautiful appearance, but it turned out to be a letdown. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of everything, but the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. The dining experience left a lot to be desired, and considering the price, I expected much better quality. Overall, while the hotel has potential, it needs significant improvements to justify its rates.
I spent one night at this hotel to celebrate my 60th birthday, and I appreciated the charming old-world atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurant and rooftop bar were closed during my visit, which was disappointing. The room was spacious and well-sized, making for a comfortable stay, but there were some operational issues that really detracted from the experience.
I had a lovely stay overall. The hotel is a charming period property with clean and spacious rooms, plus very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful, but there are clear signs of age in the building that need addressing. While I enjoyed Queenscliff's beauty, I did face some issues with outdated facilities and service at the restaurant which impacted my experience.
